ROLFON™ is a roller made of profiled mineral wool, 15 cm (5.9 in) in diameter and 1 m (3.28 ft) long, with 4 specially shaped acoustic resonators inside. The resonators are attuned to low frequencies, so they can absorb noise 2 octaves broader than any other absorbing materials before (including buffle or mineral wool ceiling boards).
The roll is covered with black or white glass fibre tissue. Both ends are finished with lug covers for quick installation, horizontally or vertically.The construction guarantees the best impact resistance and allows for easy arrangement of ROLFON™ rolls into groups of any shapes and configurations. The roll, including latches, weighs less than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb).
ROLFON is made of inflammable rock wool covering the acoustic resonators made of plastic and that allows for retaining high fire resistance. It is classified as inflammable (CNBOP) what enables use in every zone of the building, including corridors and passages.
Fire resistance classification CNBOP: Euroclass B-s1, d0 (EN 13501+A1:2010).
ROLFON is absolutely resistant to direct hits, it can not be broken or knocked off. Special steel mounting component is secured inside of the resonator that acts as an anchor mounted in 8 points along the roll.
That makes ROLFON resistant to most extreme situations such as hitting by a ball, pulling, thrilling, etc. ROLFON roll will not fall down even in case of fire!
ROLFON is made of rock wool covered by special glass veil and it does not pose a threat to the environment. Steel parts and the rock wool do not contain any substances that could be used as a base by micro-organisms.
Outer surface of the rolls can be dusted with a soft brush.
